I can only provide half an answer, but hopefully this will help... I was looking to do the same sort of setup a few years ago but never followed through. I asked the DirecTV people what I needed, and the splitter required was more than just a garden variety splitter. It was a rather pricey (~$50) device (a multiplexer, I believe it's called) that split the dual LNB into four lines. Q. I have had 2 local installers round but both failed to find a suitable location for a dish. Does anyone know the exact angle and direction of the signal, and is there only one satellite capable of giving a feed? I live in the Birmingham area.
