If America completely replaces all the deadheads with true intellects, can a better America return?
Q. It's as if the the dumbing down of America has gone full circle and now affects the ones that initiated it. Maybe a intelligent government will reverse the trend.

A. The thing is intellect is not necessarily an indicator of ethics, morality, and even common sense.

Why is America's population centered close to our borders with other countries?
Q. For example, Boston, New York City, Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago and Seattle are all within a few hours drive of the Canadian border. Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Houston and Dallas are all relatively close to the Mexican border. Is there a reason for this, or is this just the way it happened? Or maybe Middle America is just a crummy place to live?

A. Most of the cities you state are near oceans or large bodies(great lakes) of water. Most of the big cities developed as ports for trade and commerce. Factories and now large corporations became more prevalent and so more people could could work in less land. In middle America is far away form the rest of the world geographically and so less cities were made. The fact that cities pop up near other countries can be for the most part attributed to the fact that these places are near water.
